Verify the label on your medication matches 2.5mg Tirzepatide. Ensure the liquid is clear and colorless.
Clean Injection Site
Choose a site (abdomen, thigh, or arm) and clean it with an alcohol swab in a circular motion. Let the skin air dry before injecting.
Subcutaneous Injection
Pinch the cleaned skin fold. Insert the needle at a 90-degree angle and press the plunger until the full dose is delivered. Hold for 10 seconds before removing.
Rotate your injection site each week to avoid skin hardening or lumps.
Dispose of Syringe
Place the used syringe or pen directly into your FDA-cleared sharps disposal container. Do not recap the needle.
